Searching for Patterns and Similarities in Road Traffic with the Use of Modern Techniques

Abstract

The article presents the possibilities of using new methods to determine patterns and similarities
in road traffic. Modern technological development enables the processing of a large number of
data in a given space and short time. Thus, it becomes possible to identify phenomena which until
now could not be recognized and described in a reasonable way. The disclosed self-similarities in
the road network can support effective organization and control of traffic
